It’s not a bad mouse, but it has a few things that could be improved. In terms of connectivity, both Bluetooth and the 2.4G wireless dongle work fantastically. All modes have excellent range, and in over a week of use, I’ve never had connectivity issues. The battery life is amazing. I’ve been using it without turning it off a single time for over a week, Bluetooth on my laptop and TV, and the 2.4G wireless on my desktop PC, and it still shows 3 bars of battery, I haven’t charged it, it's still using the charge it came with. The texture of the top part is great, and the buttons feel really nice. I would love it if the sides were also made from the same soft-feeling material, rather than hard plastic. I hope this material lasts for years and doesn’t wear out in a few months.
Now, the things I don’t like and would like to see improved in a future version, which is why I’m giving this product 3 stars:
-First, you can’t use the mouse via Bluetooth with the 2.4G dongle inserted in the bottom, because it sticks out and rubs against the mousepad. I would love it if the dongle could be inserted further ,and with a locking mechanism, so it doesn’t rub.
-Second, the wheel sometimes skips. It doesn’t happen every time, but sometimes when scrolling, it goes slower than expected. I’ve never had this issue with other mice, and I hope you can fix it in a future update.
-Third, the DPI button. There's no way of knowing which setting you're on. You just have to press the button and move the mouse until you feel it slow down again. I would like some way to know the DPI, maybe through software. It doesn’t need to be permanent software installed on your PC, just a portable one that configures the DPI, and stores the information inside the mouse.
-Fourth, I would love the option to set a longer hibernation time. Right now it’s set to around 10 minutes, and having to press a button to wake it up feels a bit uncomfortable. With such long battery life, I feel there’s no need for such a short hibernation time. Maybe you can just add a button, like the DPI one, to set the hibernation time, or at least make it 30 minutes.
-Fifth, the tracking speed isn’t the best. I don’t intend to use this mouse for competitive gaming, but I have three monitors, and when I want to move the mouse from my left one to my right one, if I do it fast, it loses track and doesn’t move. In the manual (which, by the way, is only in Chinese, I had to translate it with my phone, please include an English version if you’re shipping internationally), it says the mouse can track 14 inches per second, which seems accurate, but I would prefer a bit more, 20 inches per second would be perfect for me.
-Sixth, the two side buttons stick out too much and feel spongy. If they were more flush with the body of the mouse and had shorter travel, it would be great. I’ve accidentally pressed them too many times.
-Seventh and last, the feet feel a bit odd, like they’re not glued down properly, and not all of the feet are making contact with the mousepad. Maybe better feet would improve the experience, and a bit thicker ones, this ones feel like in a few months they are gonna be worn out and the plastic is gonna be rubbing the mousepad.
Would I recommend it? There aren't many options on the market with three wireless modes. This one isn’t a bad choice at all, but there’s plenty of room for improvement. I wouldn’t mind paying more for a better product. You could offer both the budget-friendly and premium options in your brand, think about it :)
The mouse is cool! Stylish, lightweight, holds a charge for about a week, stable Bluetooth connection, VERY quiet clicks (I love them). There is only 1 drawback, the side keys are often pressed accidentally and I am sent to the previous video on YouTube.
This mouse is cheap, but that doesn't mean it has any problems. On the contrary, I've been using this mouse for three weeks and have no problems at all. If I use this mouse for League of Legends, it is no using problems. If you are a professional gamer, this mouse is probably not suitable.
